Pink Parties Trust

Raison D'être - Our reason for being

To award grants and assistance which will advance health education, especially women's health (breast health). To provide aid (financial and skill-based) which will relieve poverty in the UK and in any part of the world and which seeks to protect community good health both mental and physical, economically and environmentally.

Pink Parties Trust Aims
To have enormous fun whilst raising money in order to give funds to others.

We have set an achievable target of raising £25,000 by 2012 and then we will make our first Grant. Our theme is Pink, associated with any cause for women with Breast Health at the forefront, therefore our current giving focus is to Cancer Charities. We are also considering Blue Parties and men's prostate issues! The Parties or Events are any way we can successfully partner with others - be they companies, businesses or charities to raise funds.

The Trust will raise money using a variety of fund-raising activities and embracing business topics such as networking, social events and training with philanthropy.

The Trust will raise funds and a percentage will be given to specified charities immediately. Since July 2008 over £3,000 has been given to Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Breast Cancer Charities. A smaller percentage (e.g. 5%-10%) of monies raised will be retained by Pink Parties Trust and invested using endowment principles. Once a significant level has been achieved, the interest gained from the investments will be given out as grants. We anticipate the first grants will be available from 2012.

Charity Registered No - to be advised - application in progress.
