Philanthropy...
...is this a private endeavour or corporate outpouring? Do I need to be a Warren Buffet or Bill Gates and have millions to give away?
Philanthropy means the practice of doing good to one's fellow man. Strange that we should mainly view it in terms of giving money?

Philanthropy is good for both business and for the private soul. It can be a private endeavour, like tithing a tenth of one's income or putting money into the local charity tin, it can be a personal or family affair - possibly with some public recognition like your name being mentioned when giving to TV and radio campaigns like Children in Need.
For business, it can be a great way of working within corporate social responsibilities and an outward focus of the marketing plans.
I love the idea of "Micro Philanthropy" where small amounts (resources such as money, time or skills) once added together can produce a larger contribution. For this reason, Pink Parties Events can be for 9 - 99 people. We raise money and awareness of good Breast Health in small or large settings.
Let's start small with our philanthropic endeavours and then grow bigger together.
